Repairs: Available. Docking facilities: The dockyard has two floating dry docks with a lifting capacity of 20,000t and 1,100t. The length of the dockyard quays is approximately 900m, on which stand quay cranes with a lifting capacity of up to 60t. The depth of water next to them is 11.5m.
Bunkers/Water/Stores:
Fresh water: Available.
Bunkering Available. Fuel supply is effected by direct connection at the fuel quay or by means of road tankers or barge. The following types of fuel are supplied in the port: Heavy fuel oil with a viscosity of 1,500 seconds Redwood gauge at 100°F, light fuel oil with a viscosity of 450 seconds Redwood gauge at 100°F, marine diesel oil, standard grade.
Stores: Fresh, frozen, technical and bonded stores available.
Medical facilities: available

Garbage: No garbage shall be thrown into the sea. Garbage has to be collected on board and discharged into the garbage collection barge operated according to fixed schedule. The above applies also to vessels at anchor in Haifa bay. The penalty for throwing garbage overboard is a fine of NIS 225 for the first offence and NIS 450 for each additional one.
Officials and visitors: No person is allowed to enter the port or board any vessel unless he is in possession of a boarding pass, which is issued by the port management.
Pollution: During a vessel's stay in port, no ballast, rubbish, ashes or other substances shall be thrown overboard, no bilge water or other refuse shall be emptied into the sea and no oil or oily water shall be pumped or allowed to leak overboard. The emission of dark or dense smoke is also forbidden.
Any person who fails to comply with these stipulations is guilty of an offence and is liable to imprisonment for a period up to six months or a fine of NIS 50,000.
