Facilities

Facilities: 1 gantry and 5 portal cranes with SWL of 25-50t ; 1 Loading elevator for bulk cargoes with average rate of 550 ts/hour for phosphate and 650 ts/hour for ashlag average rate of 800ts/hour.

Storage: There is 25,000m2 of shed space, with a further 30,000m2 of open space; bulk storage for 170,000t of potash and phosphates (3 sheds total). The container handling area is 28,000m2 with storage for 2,200 containers.

Barges: A flat barge with SWL of 60t can be used for supplies or for stowing delayed dangerous cargoes.

Ballast/slop reception: None available. There are however 2 road tankers for removal of oily bilge water, with a capacity of 25m3 each.

Security: Security guards for port facilities. There is no watchman at the gangway and entry to the port is not permitted without a valid permit.
